My school is known for being the #1 ranked school in South Africa for academics, with 4.2 A’s per candidate in grade 12. Furthermore, Eden has a prestigious fine arts programme ranging from visual art, to dramatic arts, to dance studies as well as music. We hold the title for the South African Speech Festival best monologue as well as annually performing in the South African Shakespeare Festival. Our students art is displayed and sold at galleries nationwide and our talented musicians perform on the most well known stages. In 2019, we had to say goodbye to two of our most beautiful dancers as they left South African soil to join the Boston Ballet Company in the States. This year was our first year in which our school took part in the National School’s Moot Court Competition, where we placed as the runners-up as the respondents in the final.
Eden College is a open and safe environment, where each student receives individual attention. This allows its students to grow into the best possible versions of themselves academically as well as emotionally and socially. I have formed special bonds with each and everyone of my teachers. I am so grateful to attend a school as amazing as this one.
